Movie was OK. Very dated. Good representation of the era. Maybe my expecttations were too high. Can't believe this is the 1st time I've seen this movie. I drove a cab for 2 years. There were some similarities, but not many. 8/10

what a classic gem this is. deniro puts on a performance of a life time. hard to believe jodie foster is just a kid in this movie. how time flies when your havin fun.2 thumbs up.

As a film buff I'm ashamed to say I only got around to watching this a couple of months ago. I have to say I wasn't overly impressed but I think that's because of the years of hype I've heard about the film. Maybe I would have been more impressed if I'd seen it years ago like everyone else. I'd give this a 6/10.

Original and raw. A classic to say the least. Scorsese has brilliantly shined throughout his career, began careers of actors as well as revived them. Cybill Sheppard, can anyone say Moonlighting??? lol

This is an interesting movie, very good acting from Robert de Niro and Jodie Foster.

I understand and feel his pain. I understand vigilantism is against "The Man's" law, but sometimes a person can only get pushed so far, see so much that goes against everything he believes in before he has to lash out, release the rage building up inside him. I understand Travis Bickle. Awesome movie. 10/10.

Watched it for the first time after a friend said to check it out Great movie, almost reminds me of like a more mature version of a Grand theft auto game turned movie, Loved the setting can anyone send me more movies like this?

Really good movie. I really liked the music in it. Such a great classic. Had wonderful acting. Definetly worth watching.

Took me a while to get around to this. its such a great movie the acting is amazing, scorsese's cameo is great, and the storyline is one of the best. 10/10 i recommend it to everyone

This film is in no way boring, It slowly builds up tension with de niro finding it ever more dificult to adjust to civilian life and brooding with the frustration of what's happening on the streets when he returns from war. He has no idea how to relate to everyday people and with that sets the scene for the finaly which puts the entire film and process of events into context. For me this will always be one of if not my fav de niro/scorcese films, It is more of a drama than anything following one mans struggle to make a life for himself and the result is jaw dropping. Fantastic supporting cast including a scene with scorcese himself makes this a class piece of cinema. Absolute quality! 10/10

Robert De Niro is an amazing actor it was like he completely was that person and the way this movie was directed made the movie. GREAT!

Not only has he a speaking role, but he has another sitting on the steps outside of the campaign office in another scene as just a bystander (or bysitter).
