Strange no one rank this movie as Christmas movie, which it is, and one of the best. For me personally best romantic comedy drama ever made. 4.7/5

I can't believe I didn't even know about this movie until I saw it as a recommendation here! I added it to my "To Watch" list first and then I found out it'd won an Oscar for Best Picture, so I couldn't wait to see it. Absolutely awesome. Another Billy Wilder classic, with the great Jack Lemmon and an amazing cast. Loved the combination of drama and comedy in the perfect amount, we don't get that nowadays so much anymore. 10/10

This was a good and well acted movie. There were definetly some slow parts. Still the storyline was very good. I would recommend this movie.

this is one of my all time favourite billy wilder movies. god bless his soul. and jack lemmon and shirley mclaine, i love them so much. if anyone loves jack and shirley's chemistry you should watch 'irma la dolce'. i watched the entire 2hour film just because of the three of them!

It could be slow and boring, but I do see why it won best picture, and I do recognize how good it is. The acting was very, very good, I totally saw the ending coming though. It's a must see.
